Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Cyber Transport Project Planner. This position will be located in Sumter, SC and will be an onsite position.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expertise for the deployment and installation of long-haul transport and voice telecommunications systems in the CENTCOM AOR.
  • Assist in the analysis and management of AFCENT programs supporting telephony systems, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), and Time Division Multiplexing (TDM) voice systems, e.g., Cisco Unified Call Manager and Defense Red Switch Network (DRSN); in addition to analysis and management of telephony data base systems, e.g., Enhanced 911 (E911), Vesta, and CAIRS.
  • Assist in the analysis and management of AFCENT programs supporting long haul transport systems, Technical Control Facility (TCF) oversight and employment, coordination of circuit actions.
  • Assist in the analysis and management of theater deployable communications systems, e.g., Comm Fly Away Kits (CFK) and Executive Comm Kits (ECK).
  • Assist in the tracking and oversight of secure mobile device programs, e.g., Defense Mobility Classified Capabilities (DMCC), Defense Mobility Unclassified Capabilities (DMUC), and other wireless devices.
  • Provide advice on system modernization project management for telephony switching systems used by AFCENT.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

Bachelor's with 5 - 8 years (or commensurate experience)

PMP/equivalent certification accepted in lieu of degree

 

  • Clearance Required: SECRET
  • Minimum of eight years’ experience with the technical dynamics associated with Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) networks, Defense Red Switch Network, Defense Switch Network, strategic and deployable telephone switches, cryptographic equipment, TDM, and voice transmissions systems

    Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Top Secret clearance
  • PMP

Posted Pay Range

 

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Posted Salary Range

USD $85,000.00 - USD $103,000.00 /Yr.
