Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for Lead Systems Engineer. This position will be located in Ft Liberty Fayetteville, NC and will be an onsite position.

Responsibilities

Gathers information concerning the capabilities of Company products; investigates the technical capabilities of Company products and competing equipment and/or solutions; stays abreast of developments in hardware and software. Generates quantifiable requirements based on customer description, system planning and design, and ensures requirements comply through formal verification methods. Translates high level product development strategies into network and system requirement specifications and works with other engineering disciplines to develop lower level detailed implementation requirements. Establishes and coordinates development of standards, practices, and procedures as related to the overall network and system development. Designs interfaces and brings network and system elements together so they work as a whole. Assesses performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures. Customer liaison and support for business development activities and to understand and shape requirements.

  • The Lead Systems Engineer Architect shall serve as the subject-matter expert and senior technical advisor to the USG Program Office leadership for systems engineering and technical innovation within the scope of this TO.
  • The Lead System Engineer/Architect shall design and develop solutions to complex application problems, system administration issues, or network concerns and perform systems management and integration functions.

Qualifications

High School with 10+ years (or commensurate experience)

Required Qualifications:

 

1. DoDI 8570.01 Level III Certification (in any category as it relates to the Performance
Work Statement (PWS) areas of responsibility for this Key Personnel position).
2. A minimum of five years of experience providing enterprise-level IT architecture and
engineering services similar in scope to this TO for NIPRNet and SIPRNet
environments.
3. One cloud security (e.g., CompTIA, Cloud Security Alliance) or cloud-related
technology certification (e.g., EMC, MS, VMware, IBM, Oracle, Amazon Web
Services (AWS), Google).
4. A minimum of one year of experience providing executive-level technical briefings
and presentations to senior personnel in a SOF organization.
 
Clearance Required: TS/SCI eligible
 
Desired Qualifications:
 
1. Two or more cloud security (e.g., CompTIA, Cloud Security Alliance) or cloudrelated
technology certifications (e.g., EMC, MS, VMware, IBM, Oracle, AWS,
Google).
2. One or more ITIL certifications.
3. Information Assurance System Architect and Engineer (IASAE) certification

Posted Pay Range

 

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Posted Salary Range

USD $175,000.00 - USD $195,000.00 /Yr.
