Client/Server Database Manager

GovCIO is currently hiring a Client/Server Database Manager for the USPS Proposal. This will be a remote postion. 

• Manages the administration of client/server database.
• Analyzes the client/server database needs and develops a long-term strategy for data storage.
• Establishes policies and procedures related to data security and integrity.
• Monitors and limits database access as needed.
• Oversees the design, maintenance and implementation of the systems that manage a client/server database.
• Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.
• Leads and directs the work of others.
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
• Typically reports to top management.

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with 5 - 8 years(or commensurate experience)
  Clearance Required: Must be able to obtain a Public Trust

Posted Pay Range

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
