Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Configuration Technical Data Manager (CTDM) to provide logistics support for the Fixed Submarine Broadcast System (FSBS) Engineering Services program. This position will be located in Charleston, SC and will be an onsite position eligible for occasional telework. 

Responsibilities

Reviews technical data and handbooks for technical adequacy. Assists in the development of maintenance engineering records and logistics support. 

  • Responsible for assigning and submitting X-Repairable identification code (XRIC) and changes to record type 2 configuration data in MBPS.
  • Responsible for creating and submitting work file change notices for all software/hardware modifications and installs.
  • View technical data related to configuration including technical publications, drawings/models and logistics data. Must be able to:
    - Submit configuration work file changes based on equipment validations.
    - Perform maintenance planning and execution.
    - Process data from end users, and alteration installers.
  • Analyzes contractual commitments, customer specifications, design changes, and other data to plan and develop logistic program activities from conceptual stage through life-cycle of product.
  • Compiles data on standardization and interchangeability of parts to expedite logistics activities.
  • Determines logistic support sequences and time phasing, problems arising from location of operational area, and other factors, such as environmental and human factors affecting personnel.
  • Develops and initiates preparation of handbooks, bulletins, and information systems to provide and supply logistics support.

Qualifications

High School with 9+ years (or commensurate experience)

Clearance Required: Secret

 

Minimum of 3 years of advanced operational, navigational and technical knowledge/skills for CMPRO database.

Preferred certifications include:
• MBPS Foundational.
• Intro to MBPS Data.
• MBPS Core Team-Windchill 11.1 overview for NDPM v1.2.
• Configuration Status Accounting (CBT).
• Configuration Status Accounting (ILT).

• DAU Log 120 Supportability Analysis certification.

Posted Pay Range

 

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Posted Salary Range

USD $100,000.00 - USD $113,000.00 /Yr.
