Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for an Enterprise Asset Management Architect. This position is located in Washington D.C.  and will be fully remote. 

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage the EAM strategic roadmap
  • Create and maintain the EAM Strategy Plan.
  • Design and develop an EAM framework.
  • Lead/Chair and manage the EAM Working Group.
  • Create and execute strategic EAM processes.
  • Establish and maintain documentation of procedures, processes, and reports concerning enterprise asset management. 
  • Manage and create SOPs for the Asset Management.
  • Plan, monitor, and record hardware assets and/or software licenses to ensure they comply with vendor contracts as well as EPA requirements & regulations. 
  • Collaborate with the ServiceNow Platform Architect and Integration/CMDB Architect regarding EAM capabilities.
  • Collaborate closely with the Business Architect/Analyst and Platform Development team in creating EAM process flows, stories and integrations.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies - assisting with estimating complexity and effort for EAM stories.
  • Participate in ServiceNow client Project, Idea, and Demand Management meetings.
  • Apply a continuous improvement approach in tracking of EPA assets throughout their lifecycle. 
  • Ensure process efficiency by implementing key performance indicators (KPIs), and continuously suggest improvements to the process. 
  • Review/enhance documentation, develop governance, and provide input/guidance to realizing efficiencies in the management and lifecycle of assets.
  • Perform research on industry best practices and incorporate it with organizational practices. 
  • Participate in various projects, providing support to EPA’s over-all Infrastructure and Asset Management strategies. 
  • Stay current with ServiceNow functionality and releases - especially as they pertain to EAM.

Qualifications

Bachelor's with 15+ years (or commensurate experience)

Required Skills and Experience 

  • Strong background in general architecture, passion for innovative design 
  • Extensive experience with the ServiceNow platform: IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Asset Management, and IT Operations Management best practices.
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Clearance Required: Ability to obtain/maintain Public Trust Suitability clearance

Posted Pay Range

 

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Posted Salary Range

USD $195,000.00 - USD $195,000.00 /Yr.
