GovCIO is currently hiring for a Software License Manager to manage the lifecycle of all subscription-based software.This position will be located in HILL AFB, UT and will be a remote position.
Responsible for overseeing the acquisition, management, and compliance of software licenses within the program. They will ensure that the software usage adheres to licensing agreements and legal requirements, optimizing costs and mitigating risks associated with software licensing.This involves tracking licenses, managing renewals, conducting audits, and optimizing software usage to reduce costs. They act as a liaison between the organization, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient and compliant software deployment. As the primary point of contact for software vendors, you play a critical role in building and maintaining positive relationships. This involves fostering open communication, addressing vendor inquiries and concerns, and advocating for the organization's interests during contract negotiations. By cultivating strong vendor relationships, you can leverage opportunities for discounts, incentives, and favorable licensing terms
