Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for Security Manager ISSO to ensure the security of information systems throughout their lifecycle. This position will be located in Columbia, MD and will be an on-site position. 

Responsibilities

Implementing and enforcing security policies, standards, and procedures for information systems. Conducting risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend security measures. Participating in incident response efforts, including investigating security breaches and implementing corrective actions. Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and security requirements.  

  • Maintaining security documentation, such as System Security Plans (SSPs), Risk Assessment Reports, and Certification and Accreditation (C&A) packages. 
  • Managing changes to information systems and assessing the security impact of those changes
  • Establishing and implementing a continuous monitoring plan to maintain the security posture of information systems
  • Collaborating with other IT and security professionals to integrate security measures into all aspects of the organization.
  • Staying current with the latest security trends, technologies, and threats.

Qualifications

High School with 9+ years (or commensurate experience)

Required Skills and Experience

  • Clearance Required: TS/SCI
  • 6+ years of experience establishing, implement-ing, and maintaining the security posture of Government information systems and networks.
  • Skilled in security policy development, risk assessment, security control implementation, and compliance
  • IAM Level II or higher

Posted Pay Range

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Posted Salary Range

USD $130,000.00 - USD $170,000.00 /Yr.
