Training Management Specialist

GovCIO is currently hiring for Training Management Specialist to manage and update training content within the LMS. This position will be located in Columbia, MD and will be an on-site position.

Overseeing the day-to-day operation of the LMS, including user management, course creation and maintenance, and system configuration. Providing tier 1 and tier 2 technical support to users, troubleshooting issues, and escalating complex problems to appropriate teams or vendors. Managing and updating training content within the LMS, ensuring it is accurate, accessible, and aligned with learning objectives. Generating reports on training participation, completion rates, and other key metrics to assess the effectiveness of training programs.  

• Providing training and support to learners and instructors on how to use the LMS effectively. 
• Working with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to develop and implement training solutions. 
• Identifying opportunities to improve the LMS functionality, user experience, and overall effectiveness. 
• Ensuring that training programs and the LMS platform comply with regulatory requirements and organizational policies

High School with 9+ years (or commensurate experience)

Required Skills and Experience

• Clearance Required: TS/SCI
• 6+ years of experience efficiently planning, co-ordinating, and administering training programs, supporting project management and travel logistics for deployments, resources, and the LMS (e.g., Blackboard).
• Skilled in training administration, LMS management, coor-dination, and communication.
• IAM Level I or higher.
