Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Systems Administrator/Training Platform to create, deliver and maintain training platforms . This position will be located in Columbia, MD and will be an on-site position.

Responsibilities

Gathers information concerning the capabilities of company products; investigates the technical capabilities of company products and competing equipment and/or solutions; stays abreast of developments training platforms and system administration. Design and develop comprehensive training programs covering topics such as operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS), networking concepts, server administration, virtualization, cloud computing, security best practices, and troubleshooting techniques.

  • Produce a variety of training resources including presentations, hands-on labs, exercises, quizzes, and assessments.
  • Coordinates the planning, design, and installation of equipment, using knowledge of engineering and programming as well as sophisticated instruments and computers.
  • Manage the LMS platform, including user accounts, course enrollments, and tracking learner progress. 
  • Assess the effectiveness of training programs through evaluations, feedback surveys, and performance assessments. 
  • Work with subject matter experts, IT teams, and other stakeholders to ensure training aligns with organizational needs and goals
  • Provide technical support to learners during training sessions and troubleshooting issues with the training platform. 

 

 

Qualifications

High School with 6 - 9 years (or commensurate experience)

Required Skills and Experience

  • Clearance Required: Secret
  • 3-5 years of experience in installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining hardware, software, systems, and training platforms (e.g., Forge Suite).
  • Skilled in system administration, troubleshooting, infra-structure maintenance, and technical support.
  • IAT Level II or higher

Posted Pay Range

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Posted Salary Range

USD $110,000.00 - USD $130,000.00 /Yr.
