GovCIO is looking for a Program Manager to join our Health Technical Services Management team. The candidate should have experience with a civil agency, preferably Veterans Affairs. The Program Manager will be a hands-on leader who will be responsible for day-to-day oversight major projects in a portfolio. Many resources will not be direct reports but will require influence. Strong experience in managing multiple resources and customer demands is important. The environment is dynamic, and client needs are often evolving. As such, thought leadership, problem solving, rapid learning, and carrying out the innovative mindset needed to lead our clients through conceptualization, strategic planning, and execution are important. Additionally, flexibility and forward-thinking views are important for success. This is a fully remote US-Based position with core hours of operation from Monday to Friday 8 AM to 5 PM ET.
Required Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific /technical discipline or equivalent experience is required with 15 years of project management experience within IT. 10+ years of additional experience may be substituted for education.
Experience with project management or issue management software (i.e., JIRA, ServiceNow, SharePoint).
Preferred Skills and Experience
Clearance: Must be able to obtain/maintain a suitability/public trust clearance for the VA.
