SkillBridge- GovCIO is currently hiring for an Information Technology Support Intern to gain experience and understanding of GovCIO IT support career fields supporting the Air Force. This position will be located at Hurlburt Field Florida, and will be an on-site position.
SkillBridge Position for transitioning Military Service Members. This is a Temporary Position lasting 120-180 calendar days, depending on the members availability. The training plan will be tailored to the individual's experience and availability.
The Intern will learn and gain experience in the following:
The Intern will be required to adhere GovCIO standards of conduct.
This is an unpaid position. The Intern will retain military status and pay throughout the Internship.
This is a full-time temporary internship. The intern will be expected to work Monday-Friday except Federal Holidays not to exceed 8 hours/day. Leave will be scheduled in accordance with SkillBridge and Military policies. See the DoD Skillbridge website for more information regarding leave.
Failure to maintain standards may result in termination of the internship and the intern will be required return to their military command organization.
Completion of the program does not gaurantee that GovCIO will hire the intern as a paid employee.
Must be a current member of the United States Military. The member must be within 180 days of separation from military service and obtain approval from his/her command to begin the SkillBridge Internship.

Posted Pay Range
The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process.
