We are seeking a highly skilled Network Systems Administrator with a strong background in cybersecurity compliance, STIG mitigation, ECAM/IAVM remediation, and system hardening within classified environments. This role will serve as a dedicated technical resource responsible for researching vulnerabilities, developing mitigation scripts, maintaining system updates, and supporting deployments across SIPR and JWICS networks. The ideal candidate will possess strong Linux and Windows experience, the ability to collaborate with developers, and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and system improvement.
Research, remediate, and script fixes for STIG findings (RHEL, Tomcat, WAR, Java).
Implement ECAM/IAVM mitigations with both automated and manual solutions.
Perform monthly updates/patching and troubleshoot storage/performance issues.
Support deployment cycles and update deployment scripts as tech versions change.
Update and maintain security agents (ACAS, Carbon Black, Trellix, Flexera).
Manage Active Directory joins and Linux domain troubleshooting.
Maintain and troubleshoot AWS instances, logging issues, storage, and resource scaling.
Track, renew, install, and test system certificates.
Capture logs, diagnose faults, and escalate technical findings quickly.
Support DEV network accounts, troubleshooting, and long-term upgrade planning.
Perform periodic updates, reinstallations, and repairs to security agents including:
ACAS
Carbon Black
Trellix (multiple modules)
Flexera
Ensure operational integrity across monitored systems.
Deployment Support
Remove and rejoin systems to domain environments as needed.
Troubleshoot authentication and policy issues including Linux domain integration.
Validate and update connection commands periodically.
Manage and maintain AWS instances including storage, scaling, and resource allocation.
Perform backup/restore functions and review AWS logs to resolve system issues.
Research and resolve cloud performance, connectivity, or integration issues.
Track, request, install, and test certificates across all system instances.
Coordinate renewal cycles and ensure availability prior to expiration.
Own full certificate lifecycle management as volume increases.
Capture and analyze system logs to rapidly diagnose issues.
Perform testing, validate findings, and provide cross-team technical insight.
Drive efficient resolution through collaborative problem-solving.
Manage and create DEV network user accounts.
Troubleshoot network outages and maintain documentation.
Assist in long-term DEV network restoration, upgrades, and stabilization efforts.
Clearance Required: Top Secret/ SCI
Experience maintaining classified systems within SIPR/JWICS networks.
Strong knowledge of Linux (RHEL) and Windows administration.
Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell preferred).
Experience with Tomcat, WAR deployments, Java environments, and AWS.
Background in cybersecurity, STIGs, vulnerability remediation, or system hardening.
Ability to research independently and produce documented technical solutions.

Posted Pay Range
The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity.
