Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Proposal Analyst to support business development activities for the Health and Civilian Sector. This position will be located in Fairfax, VA, and will be a hybrid position.

Responsibilities

  • Support Health and Civilian Sector Business Development organization by contributing to bid products such as RFI and Market Research responses, capture presentations, questions in response to draft and final RFPs, and proposal sections.
  • Create compliant and compelling proposal content by thoroughly analyzing the solicitation requirements.
  • Contribute to management, quality, and transition volumes but also may work on personnel (including resumes and staffing) and past performance.
  • Use critical thinking skills to iteratively develop content and graphics using best practices such as storyboarding.
  • Deliver required artifacts according to the schedule.
  • Collaborate with other proposal team members to integrate win themes, discriminators, and strengths into assigned written sections.
  • Ensure alignment of assigned section with overall proposal strategy and messaging.
  • Support color team reviews.
  • Write proposal narratives that are responsive to requirements and highlight the strengths or benefits of our solution.
  • Develop or refine graphics that support our proposed solution.
  • Analyze proposal requirements (including subsequent amendments), capture materials, reading room content, and/or openly available materials to integrate critical concepts and insights into the proposal narrative.
  • Revise proposal content based on iterative and color team feedback.
  • Provide project coordination support for business development-related activities such as pipeline reviews, oral presentations, and procurement.
  • May be required to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s with 1-3 years experience
  • Proven ability to contribute to and write compliant and compelling artifacts in response to Government solicitations or contract deliverables.
  • Knowledge of Federal Government proposal life cycles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience writing for government proposals.

Posted Pay Range

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Posted Salary Range

USD $65,000.00 - USD $70,000.00 /Yr.
