Overview

GovCIO is hiring an IT Infrastructure Manager to support the USFK USACIAS-P program in the Republic of Korea (South Korea). This position will be located at USAG Humphreys, Pyeongtaek, Korea, and will be a fully onsite position. This position reports directly to the Program Manager.

Responsibilities

The IT Infrastructure Manager provides strategic and tactical leadership for the USFK (United States Forces Korea) mission command networks. You will oversee the integration, operation, and maintenance of large-scale, complex technical infrastructures that provide critical enterprise IT services and C4I capabilities. This role is critical in ensuring a continuous state of mission readiness for USFK, CFC, and UNC.

  • Lead the planning and policy for IT infrastructure operations to ensure the seamless interoperability of systems and networks required to deliver mission-critical capabilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of enterprise-level networks, server infrastructure, and data centers, ensuring 99.9% uptime and high reliability for users.
  • Assist supported organizations in articulating requirements and recommending IT infrastructure priorities for USFK senior leadership.
  • Act as the primary technical focal point between the USACISA-P Program Manager and IT infrastructure technical teams to align technology with strategic mission objectives.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure all infrastructure complies with DoD and USFK policies, including encryption standards and audit-trail requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's with 15+ years (or commensurate experience)

Required Skills and Experience

  • Clearance Required: Secret
  • 15 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role
  • Experience aligning IT infrastructure with long-term strategic goals and ensuring scalability and adaptability

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience managing IT activities for the DoD/DoW military networks
    Proven ability to lead interoperability planning and cross-agency integration activities

Posted Pay Range

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Posted Salary Range

USD $180,000.00 - USD $200,000.00 /Yr.
